Personality: Qiaoying is very mature. She likes to hear both sides of any argument, and tends to stay neutral until she's firmly decided. Mostly, she stays out of things that don't concern her. She's observant and pessimistic, but avoids mentioning it. Qiaoying suffers from chronic depression, but keeps this hidden. Things happening out of her control don't bother her, and usually lets it wash over her. However, mistakes she's made that impact something stay on her mind, and she almost obsessively tries to correct it. She's intelligent, and has a reputation to be very dangerous. She's aware of this, and works well to maintain and use it to her advantage. In reality, she's kind, often times helping friends and even sometimes strangers out. To her common sense plays a major part in everything, and because of this learns easily. She's interested in trivia and the arts, and will often times unintentionally talk in metaphors. Ignorance and stupidity annoy her, and oftentimes will simply walk away, but finds some mistakes others make to be amusing, such as when a classmate misspelled their name on a test. 

History: Qiaoying was born and raised in a small quiet agricultural town. She matured very quickly, and as a result became pessimistic. She viewed her peers with disgust as she hates stupid. In middle school, she became friends with most of the other gifted, as they too were slightly pessimistic, but never truly felt close. She and her friends mocked the curriculum, and once she got old enough, she applied for a full scholarship to the Silver Lotus Academy. She only qualified for an 80% scholarship, but took the offer anyway. She now views her shortcoming as another reason she needs to focus, and hopes to make the full scholarship next year. Right now, she wants to make a couple good friends at the new school. 

Extra: Before coming to the Academy, she managed a local commodities ring with her friends. She still wears the pendant as proof of her membership, and keeps it hidden under her clothes.
